Minor Update: EASE 4.1 Subversion 5

23-Feb-2004

Upgrading to EASE 4.1.0.5 online:

  1. Go To EASE Update in your Help menu
  2. If you have not yet upgraded to 4.1 subversion #2 you should do that now (see below). Otherwise EASE 4.1.0.5 cannot be accessed.
  3. If you are at subversion 4.1.0.2 you will see a patch in the EASE Updater that brings you to subversion #5. (It also includes an upgrade for the EASE Updater.)
  4. Download and run the patch. You will be asked to reboot. Do that.
  5. After the reboot go again to "EASE Update". Now you should see the new help files for 4.1. The patch is about 16MB big.
  6. If you like, download the new help and run the patch.
  7. You should be able to start EASE 4.1.0.5 right away. Your licence should not be affected.

This update fixes the bugs that were found in the major 4.1 release, for example regarding DXF Import. It also gives access to the updated 4.1 help files.
