Upgrade Windows with EASE 3.0 installed
I have EASE 3.0 and would like to upgrade from Windows 98 to XP. Will I have a license problem or can I just upgrade without any problems?
Although the OS upgrade process should not affect the licencing system
we have made the contrary experience. Please export your licences to a
different computer before you upgrade. Alternatively you can also
terminate the licence and send the termination key to ADA. After the
upgrade you can request a new key for your system.
Have you considered upgrading to 4.0? Licencing has been
simplified dramatically. In your case, for instance, you would just
connect to the internet, upload your licence, upgrade to XP and
download the licence again.
